Personalized Dog Boarding Activities
At Pet Resort in the Gardens, we aim to individualize the lodging experience of every dog. Choose from our menu of enrichment activity packages to customize your furry friend’s ideal stay. Some of our fun activities include:
- Play! Playtime for social butterflies and shy guests alike. You (or your dog) can choose from fun games like fetch, tug-o-war, and laser chases.
- Cuddle and Love Sessions. Treat your pet to one-on-one cuddle or brushing time with a caring staff member.
- Yummy treats. Your dog will love filled rubber toys or a delicious and nutritious human-grade, hand-fed treat.
Healthy is What We Do
Pet Resort in the Gardens shares a campus with Farrell Animal Hospital. Our resort staff members monitor the well-being of each individual guest every 30 minutes throughout the day, and veterinarians are available in case of emergency.
Though we provide a highly digestible and palatable in-house diet at $5/day per pet, we encourage owners to bring their pet’s regular diet. Your pet’s meals will be prepared in our on-site kitchen to your specifications, always provided in freshly-sanitized bowls.
For the health and safety of our canine guests and care team members, we require the following medical protocol:
- Rabies 1 or 3 yr
- DHPP 1 or 3 yr
- Bordetella within 1 yr
- Fecal exam to check for parasites within 1 yr
- Both strains of the Canine Influenza (H3N8 & H3N2) within 1 yr
- Puppies must be current on age appropriate booster vaccines. Puppies less than 16 weeks of age require approval by Farrell Animal Hospital veterinarians.
Vaccinations less than 6 months past due, may be updated upon arrival by our on-site veterinarians during a Pet Resort stay. Vaccinations which have never been administered previously or which are more than 6 months past due, require a 7 day waiting period before the pet is allowed into the facility.
Please also note the following health requirements:
- Pets showing signs of illness will not be allowed to enter the premises.
- Pets recently rescued from a shelter or foster may require a 3 week waiting period.
- Pets exhibiting aggression toward people or other pets may not be allowed, but will be assessed individually prior to scheduling.
