Dog Boarding FAQs
Dog Boarding FAQs
What vaccinations does my dog need?
Pet Resort in the Gardens has an amazing health and safety record, and part of that is due to our vaccination standards. To continue providing the safest environment, we require proof of vaccination for rabies (1 or 3 year), DHLPP (1 or 3 year), Bordetella (yearly), canine influenza (yearly), and a negative fecal exam (yearly).
Can I tour your facility?
We’d love to show you our home! Visit during regular business hours on Monday through Saturday and our staff will be happy to take you on a tour of the grounds.

Do you offer a trial stay?

I’m nervous about boarding my pet. How do I know my pet will be taken care of?
At Pet Resort in the Gardens, we pride ourselves on providing the best pet care services in the area. All our guests can enjoy unmatched peace of mind knowing our care is overseen by veterinary professionals. All members of our staff are specially trained to check on your furry family member throughout the day and love them just like they would be at home. If you’re concerned about your pet’s daily routine, chat with us about creating a custom activity package for your pet.
Can I bring my pet’s own food?
Yes! We highly recommend bringing your dog’s usual food to keep them on the diet they’re used to. However, we do have Purina EN at $5/day/pet if they would like to eat ours.
Can I bring my pet’s favorite toy?
Absolutely. It’s important to us that your pet feel at home here, so you’re more than welcome to bring his or her favorite toy. We just ask you limit the number of items to 3 per pet.
I have multiple dogs. Can they stay together?
Yes! We offer large suites for multi-pet families to stay together, and we always discount additional family members 15% whether they’re staying in the same suite or not. Call us at (817) 635-5510 to book your fur family’s stay.
Can you accommodate special needs pets?
We can accommodate many kinds of special needs pets, including diabetic, geriatric, and even wheelchair pets. Please be sure to discuss our pet’s needs with us when booking your stay. There is a fee of $10/day to account for extra care.
My pet takes medications. Can you administer them?
Yes, if your pet has prescription medications please provide them in their original containers with clear instructions.
