What will my dog learn?

We excel at helping dogs discover and master obedience cues and home manners. Pet parents come to us for help turning their dogs into the best possible furry family members. We’ll teach or remind your dog to sit, stay, leave it, and come when called. We’ll also work on common challenges like leash walking, polite greetings, and impulse control.

Can you work on specific issues with my dog?

What is a training evaluation like?

All the training programs at Pet Resort in the Gardens are customized for your individual needs and goals. To get started, one of our training team members will meet with you to discuss your experiences, situation, and desired goals. We’ll show you our facility, discuss our methods, and go over which training options would best suit you and your family. The fee is $25.

Can you work on social skills with my dog?

Yes! Socialization is one of the most critical and meaningful tools for your dog, but it doesn’t always come naturally. Many of our training programs are built around a social experience in our safe and supervised facility. Your dog can interact with dogs of similar size and energy level to exercise their social skills in a safe place. If your dog would prefer not to play with other dogs at all, that’s no problem either! We have personal play programs available for all of our training options.

What vaccinations are required for training?

Pet Resort in the Gardens has an amazing health and safety record, and part of that is due to our vaccination standards. To continue providing the safest environment, we require proof of vaccination for rabies (1 or 3 year), DHLPP (1 or 3 year), Bordetella (yearly), canine influenza (yearly), and a negative fecal exam (yearly).

Do you offer puppy training?

Chevron right icon

We absolutely do. Starting training early is so important! We offer special puppy-oriented curriculums for any of our training options. We’ll help build the foundation for obedience training, home manners, a healthy routine, and social skills with your young one. Call us to learn more.
