Dog Daycare FAQs
Dog Daycare FAQs
What vaccinations are required for dog daycare?
Pet Resort in the Gardens has an amazing health and safety record, and part of that is due to our vaccination standards. To continue providing the safest environment, we require proof of vaccination for rabies (1 or 3 year), DHLPP (1 or 3 year), Bordetella (yearly), canine influenza (yearly), and a negative fecal exam (yearly).
Do you require a daycare evaluation?
We keep our daycare program safe and fun by ensuring each new guest joins the best daycare program for them. The first step is an “introduction day,” where they come play with us for free to see which play option is best for them.
Can I come in for a tour?
Of course. We’d love to show you our facility! Visit us during regular business hours on Monday through Saturday and our staff will be happy to take you on a tour.
What will my dog be doing at daycare?
We have multiple play options to meet the needs of most every pup personality! Our standard daycare is a group play program perfect for social dogs. We also have a personal play option for dogs who prefer human company. No matter which program they pick, they’ll enjoy lots of exercise in our play yards, interaction with staff, and comfy rest times in a climate-controlled room. We also have an Enhanced Daycare program with extra fun and games.
Can I add more activities to my pet’s daycare plan?
Yes, we are happy to put together a custom package to meet your pet’s needs and desires. Just give us a call and we’ll set up your pet’s perfect day.
If my plans change, what’s your cancellation policy?
Should you need to change or cancel your reservations, please let us know 24 hours prior to your arrival.
Can you accommodate special needs pets?
Yes, we’re more than happy to accommodate pets with special needs. Please discuss your pet’s needs with us when you call to set up your reservations.
My dog doesn’t like other dogs. Can they still join daycare?
Absolutely. We know each dog is unique, so we have multiple daycare programs to suit dogs of different social levels. Our personal play program features one-on-one playtime with a specially trained staff member to ensure your pet gets all the exercise, attention, and playtime they desire.
